Call for Submissions: Anthology
We’re seeking bold, original voices for our next literary anthology—writers who can capture a moment, crack open a truth, or linger in a reader’s mind long after the final line. Whether your work leans lyrical, experimental, character-driven, or emotionally charged, we want to experience stories and poems that pulse with authenticity.
Upcoming Anthology Deadlines:
From Dusk to Dawn: Submit by 3/31/2027. Anticipated publication date Autumn 2027.
Love to Hate You, Hate to Love You: Submit by 10/31/2027. Anticipated publication date Spring 2028.
ANTHOLOGY SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Submit your edited short story or poetry for the chance to be featured among a diverse collection of emerging and established writers. Let your voice be heard. Let your words take their place on the page.
Accepting for anthologies:
Short Story, creative non-fiction, and memoirs: up to 10,000 word count (longer word counts will be considered, please email info@codebluepublishing.com to discuss)
Poetry: no limitations to length but length may be a deterrence if it is too short or too long once laid out for page formatting.
No more than two submissions per anthology, per person.
Authors can submit to all anthologies simultaneously.
There is no fee to submit.
Proceeds from the first year sales (applicable to Tales from the Bedside, Shadows from the Frontline, and Echoes from the Other Side) will be donated to charity identified with each anthology theme.

Contributor Compensation:
Selected contributors in identified anthologies will be paid $0.01 per word (USD), based on the final edited word count of their accepted piece. If the anthology advances to crowdfunding, additional contributor compensation or benefits may be offered based on the campaign's success. Each contributor will receive one electronic version of the final book and the option to purchase one standard paperback copy at author cost (plus any shipping) when the book is released.
Authors retain full ownership of their intellectual property.
Code Blue Publishing does not claim or assume copyright over any submitted work.
Once the pre-publication proof has begun, the submitted work will be finalized for printing in the anthology.
Code Blue Publishing permanently reserves the right to publish the work within the anthology while the Author keeps ownership rights to the work.
All authors will receive either acceptance or rejection within fourteen (14) days of the anthology’s deadline.
Exclusivity of Story Rights is from time of acceptance until twenty-four (24) hours after the book release.

Once Author is notified of acceptance, light editing will be provided with quick turnaround time for author's approval prior to meet publishing deadline.
Submission should be formatted in Times New Roman 12pt font.
One-inch margins.
No indentations.
No double-spacing.
No extra spacing between paragraphs.
No chapters.
